Window & Door Replacement
in Redwood City

Redwood City calls itself “Climate Best by Government Test,” and while that helps the windows themselves last longer, original single-pane units in older Emerald Hills and Farm Hill homes still cost you on energy bills and comfort. We handle both classic neighborhoods and newer Redwood Shores construction.

"Our Emerald Hills home has some unusual window sizes from a 1960s remodel. Window Station measured everything carefully and every single window fit perfectly on install day. Really impressed with the precision."

Redwood City FAQ

Common questions from
Redwood City homeowners

My home has nonstandard window sizes. Can you still help?

Yes. Many Redwood City homes, especially in Emerald Hills and Farm Hill, have custom or nonstandard opening sizes from additions or past remodels. We measure every opening individually and can special-order windows to fit those exact dimensions rather than forcing a standard size into an odd opening.

How long does window installation take?

Every project is different, but we always give you a time estimate when we quote, and we’re usually accurate. We work as fast as the job allows without cutting corners. A proper installation takes the time it takes. If a project runs across multiple days, your home is always secured at the end of each day; we never leave openings exposed overnight. After your proposal is signed, product lead times typically run 3–5 weeks depending on what you’ve ordered. Our crew cleans up completely before leaving.

Are there tax credits or rebates for new windows?

Yes. Federal tax credits under the Inflation Reduction Act may apply for Energy Star certified windows and doors installed in your primary residence, worth up to 30% of product cost (up to $600 for windows). PG&E also offers utility rebates for qualifying upgrades. We'll advise you on which products qualify during your estimate.
